We would like to welcome our new Vice-Principal, Ms. Sheila McKee to our staff.

Ms. McKee comes to our district with administrative experience at K’ak’ot’lats’i and Ditidaht Schools, wealth of experience with the Ministry of Children and Family Development in Nanaimo and Victoria, and is a member of Metis Nation British Columbia. With a Master of Education degree from the University of Calgary, Ms. McKee is active as a professional educator. She has been acknowledged for her contribution to a 2010 publication entitled, “Aboriginal transitions: Undergraduate to graduate phase II final report” and has presented provincially on Indigenous Self-determination and First Nations Languages.
